WSDA Retro is a group retrospective rating program, offered by the Department of Labor and Industries (L&I). This members-only program provides WSDA member practice owners a no-cost, no-risk way to lower or maintain their workers’ compensation premiums paid to L&I and potentially earn money back if the group performs well as a whole.

WSDA has partnered with Employer Resources Northwest (ERNwest) to administer the program. In this session, Julie Osterberg from ERNwest will provide an overview of the WSDA Retro Program, your responsibilities as a member of the Retro group, and what you need to know to be successful.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the basics of the WSDA Retro program.
  • Learn about resources available to return injured workers safely and minimize costs.
  • Learn how you can be reimbursed up to 100% of wages for bringing your employee back to light/modified duty
