Kathy O'Loughlin, DMD, MPH

Dr. Kathy O’Loughlin recently retired after twelve and a half years as the first female executive director of the American Dental Association (ADA), the nation’s leading advocate for oral health. She joined the ADA in 2009 after serving as the Chief Dental Officer for United Health Group. Kathy served as President and CEO for Delta Dental of Massachusetts for six years. In addition, Dr. O’Loughlin maintained a private dental practice for over twenty years and served as Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. O’Loughlin was the first female dental school class president and valedictorian of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (1981). Currently Dr. O’Loughlin serves on the Board of Directors of Biolase, a publicly traded dental technology company, and the Board of Directors of Dental LifeLine Network. In addition, Dr. O’Loughlin serves as a Venture Partner for Revere Partners, a venture capital firm dedicated to dental innovation.
